As we bid farewell to 2024, we proudly reflect on another incredible year of empowering Australia’s next generation of infrastructure professionals.
What we’re about
Established in 2016 as a not-for-profit organisation, our mission is to equip Australia’s infrastructure professionals with the practical skills needed to construct the future.
Our eight-day programs are designed to provide participants with the experience of delivering a project from start to finish. Participants from diverse organisations and sectors collaborate to plan, build and deliver iconic structures through a competitive tender process and hands-on construction. Each build is a journey that challenges and connects participants, providing them with unparalleled real-world experience.
What we achieved in 2024
This year, we celebrated some incredible milestones:
- Added four new structures to our lineup, providing a new dimension to our offerings:
- Pumped Hydro (Water Battery) in Queensland and Victoria;
- Big Rail Station Build in Victoria
- Rocklea Rail Shelter in Queensland (one off); and
- Pilot School Program -Construct Her Future supported by CSQ in Queensland.
- Delivered 12 build programs across Victoria and Queensland.
- Welcomed over 20 new partners and sponsors to the Constructionarium Australia family, providing critical support to delivering our programs.
- Expanded our alumni network to over 760 professionals from a range of backgrounds, disciplines and experiences. We also hosted an alumni event in Brisbane to celebrate this network.
Looking ahead to 2025
The new year promises even more opportunities to shape Australia’s infrastructure future. Our 2025 program is now live on our Queensland and Victoria website pages, and we can’t wait to welcome fresh participants and continue to foster professional growth.
