Constructionarium Australia is delighted to announce the establishment of a Victorian home for the organisation’s build programs in Melbourne. Located at Major Road Projects Victoria's Hallam site, the new facility will provide the not-for-profit with access to facilities and storage to deliver our programs in Victoria.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to establish a Victorian home for Constructionarium Australia in Melbourne as we grow our program in partnership with the entire Victorian construction and infrastructure sector and the Victorian Government’s Major Road Projects Victoria,” said Constructionarium Australia’s Tanya Barmby.
“We have developed a fantastic program for the year ahead, comprising eight builds which will see close to 200 emerging professionals from across clients, contractors, design houses, materials and equipment suppliers take part in a unique learning and development experience designed to build capability and capacity, create powerful networks. Central to the program’s success is a dedicated training environment that will provide a home for the Big Build Bridge and our team while providing outstanding facilities for our future cohorts.”
“As with all Constructionarium Australia activities, the development of the new training facility has been an industry-wide collaboration, and on behalf of the board of Constructionarium Australia, I would like to thank our partners Major Road Projects Victoria, BMD Group, BESTFAB, InfraBuild, Holcim, Glenn Hester Photography, Chief Group, BASE Industries and Civifence Pty Ltd as well as all the participating MRPV contractors, for their commitment to the program and support through providing materials, time, resources and expertise to assist with the facility’s establishment,” said Tanya.
The facility will be home to the first Victorian build program of 2023 in partnership with MACA Ltd which will take place from 1 February to 10 February 2023.
“We are excited to launch the first build program of 2023 with MACA at the new Hallam training facility and welcome the first Constructionarium Australia Victorian cohort for 2023 to this facility,” said Tanya.
